Katie is a makeup artist based in
Rhode
Island, working and traveling through out New England.
Growing up with all boys for me meant makeup was pretty non-existent in my life. Luckily I was always surrounded by art, and when makeup found its way into my life I saw it as an art form more than a way to cover up flaws. In high school I was head of the hair and makeup department for drama club and that is where I fell in love with the creative process. I loved how makeup could evoke an emotion and make people feel powerful.
In 2009 I enrolled in the Masters Program for Esthetics at Empire Beauty School. After graduating I continued my education of makeup and skincare by taking courses from and assisting celebrity makeup artists and prestigious brands in NYC, Boston and R.I.
In 2013 I joined the Powder Group where I continued taking courses for makeup and business.
In 2020 I began working under renowned skin care therapist, Dana Thomases in Needham, MA as a skin care consultant helping folks achieve clinical results through holistic approaches. I believe incorporating good skin preparation into a makeup application is so important to the final look.

When I am not on a set or in a bridal suite doing makeup, you can find me drinking herbal tea, tending to my apothecary and kissing my dogs on my 7.5 acre farm in rural Rhode Island with my husband.
